Privacy Policy
Upwork Jobs Agent · operated by Digidog · last updated 24 September 2026
This policy explains what Upwork Jobs Agent collects, why, who processes it for us, and your choices. We collect only what the service needs to work and do not sell personal data.
1. What we collect
- Account: your name, email address and sign-in identifier (email and password, or Google sign-in), your agency name and team members.
- Freelancer profiles: public Upwork profile data for freelancers you add — name, title, description, rate, skills, portfolio and work history — plus the settings you give them.
- Jobs and proposals: Upwork job postings found for your filters, the AI's verdict and reasoning for each, proposals written and sent, and their status (sent, viewed, replied, hired) with Connects used.
- Notification settings: Telegram chat IDs you connect and email addresses you add for alerts.
- Technical data: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, small browser storage for interface preferences (for example, hints you dismissed), and server logs used to run and secure the service.
2. How we use it
- To find and filter jobs, judge fit, write proposals and send the notifications you asked for.
- To submit proposals where you have set that up, and to track their outcome.
- To show statistics and market insights, which are built from public job postings, not from your private data.
- To secure the service, fix problems and improve features.
3. Who processes data for us
- Upwork — profile, job and proposal data through its API.
- OpenAI — job and profile text sent to AI models to judge matches and write proposals.
- Google Firebase — sign-in and account authentication.
- MongoDB Atlas — the main database.
- Vercel and Hostinger — hosting of the web app and the backend services.
- Telegram and Resend — delivery of alerts by Telegram and email.
These providers process data only to deliver their part of the service.
4. Retention
We keep data while your account is active so history, statistics and proposals stay available. When you ask us to delete your agency, we delete its account, freelancer and job data, except where we must keep records for legal or security reasons.
5. Security
Access is limited to your agency, connections are encrypted, and secrets such as API keys are kept on the server. No system is perfectly secure; tell us at once if you suspect misuse of your account.
6. Your choices and rights
- Edit or remove freelancers, portfolio items, filters and notification addresses at any time in the app.
- Pause notifications for any freelancer, or disconnect Telegram.
- Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion by writing to us.
7. Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and note the date at the top.
